Central Baptist Christian School


Central Baptist Christian School has been in operation since 1964. We start with the 2-3 year old pre-kindergarten and go through the twelfth grade.
Curriculum
The pre-kindergarten through the second grade use the Abeka program.
Third grade through twelfth use the Switched on Schoolhouse program from Alpha & Omega.
Staff
Administration
Our Pastor, Dr. Danny Dodson, is the administrator of the school operations. The entire program is under his authority.
Our Assistant Pastor, Bro. Sandy Little, will be taking responsibility for CBCS. This is Bro. Little's first year at our school.
Mrs. Becky Liker, a graduate of CBCS, is the school secretary. She also woks at the Church Office.
Junior High & High School
- Bro. Little will be in charge of the daily activities.
- Bro. Eddie Grimes, the Assistant to the Pastor, helps with the math lessons.
- Mrs. Debbie Dodson, the pastor's wife, will assist with the reading program.
- Mrs. Ginger Consford advises and substitutes as needed.
Upper Elementary
- Bro. Little will be in charge of the daily activities.
- Mrs. Debbie Dodson, the pastor's wife, will assist with the reading program.
- Bro. Eddie Grimes helps with the math lessons.

Lower Elementary
- Mrs. Christy Little is the main teacher in 1-2nd grades.
- Mrs. Debbie Dodson will assist as needed.
Kindergarten
- Miss Ashley Liker is the 4-5 year old teacher. She graduated from CBCS and the Faith Bible Institute. She has been involved with the school ministry for the last four years.
- Miss Ashley also works closely with the pre-K teacher, Miss Mary Moore.
- Miss Mary Moore substitutes as needed.
Pre-kindergarten
- Miss Mary Moore, the church secretary, is the teacher for the youngest children in our school. She graduated from CBCS and the Faith Bible Institute. She has been involved with the school ministry for nine years.
- Miss Mary and Miss Ashley work closely on their projects and lesson plans.
- Mrs. Debbie Dodson assists when needed.
